I was the distribution manager at Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports from 1972 to 1976. The silver with red leather color combo was my favorite at the time. we did not get too many daytonas or dinos in this color combo. i remember a very prominent auto executive from Detroit who picked the car up in Paoli around May of 74, but i beleive that we had installed Boranni's. the photo does not show the wire wheels, maybe I just cannot remember more than the Detroit executives Silver/Red daytona. we also had a stunning daytona coupe that was Dino Blue Met with Red Leather, this was the only one we had in 3 years at Chin-Gar. it was sold thru our in house dealer ( Algar) to the college roomate of a prominent Detroit executive/ sports car racer. Greta memories.
